Client recently purchased the property – which had underline subsidence issue. Client also wanted additional space. We were appointed as a principal designer for Architect Design plans and Structural Design. The design included new rear extension, loft conversion, internal amendments for open plan kitchen, and chimney removals. We were than appointed as a Design and build Contractors to complete the job from concept to completion. All the phases were successfully delivered. The challenging phase was the underpinning – we had to use hydraulic jacks and hit/miss FDN method. Since the house was built on gradient ground we had to use temporary supports to rear side to  install new beam. The project had all the site safety under HSE and risk mitigation management. We also assisted with party wall agreement and Building Control approval. The project was delivered on time. Overall client was extremely satisfied.
